724 Solutions' Policy Control Module is a sophisticated and intelligent, flexible policy engine designed to enable mobile operators and converged service providers to differentiate traffic and dynamically apply policies based on a wide variety of business rules and attributes, such as subscriber profile/preferences, device capabilities, network bearer, location and other service enabler information. For example, the solution enables quality of service (QoS) and bandwidth resource management so that the value of services provided matches the value paid by subscribers. Such capabilities allow the operator the opportunity for better subscriber relations, while capitalizing on revenue up sell opportunities at the relevant moment in time.
