China Mobile Selects 724 Solutions to Enable Personalized Next Generation Media and Messaging Services
724's Messaging Solutions will enable personalized MMS services to over 74 million subscribers.
Santa Barbara, CA, (February 6, 2008) - 724 Solutions, a leading provider of next generation mobile data solutions enabling seamless communications in an IP-based world, today announced that China Mobile Communications Corporation Guangdong (CMCC GD), the largest provincial mobile network operator in China, has selected 724's Messaging and Content Management Solutions to power their Data services Content Management Platform (DCMP); a platform which will offer existing and next generation media and content services to its 74 million subscribers.
724's Messaging solutions will be deployed to enhance and enrich the subscriber's professional and private lives with premium content services relevant to their specific needs. The initial service to be launched will be a personalized Mobile Newspaper service, allowing subscribers to personalize the type of content that is delivered to their handsets. The high performance and innovative messaging offerings are expected to provide world-class services, especially during the Olympic Games in 2008 and the Asian Games in 2010.
