Elisa Finland Deploys 724 Solutions' Seamless Access Solution for
Mobile Internet Next Generation Services
Santa Barbara, CA, (October 29, 2007) - 724 Solutions, a leading provider of next generation mobile data solutions enabling seamless communications in an IP-based world, today announced that Elisa Finland, Finland's second-largest telecommunications company, has deployed 724's Seamless Access Solution and is now offering next generation Mobile Internet services with the lowest total cost of ownership.
The upgrade to 724's Seamless Access now gives Elisa a powerful platform from which to drive higher levels of subscriber data service usage with new innovative services. Elisa can offer both postpaid and for the first time, prepaid subscribers (enabled by real-time billing), an improved end-user experience with faster response times as they access data services. Seamless Access is enabling all Elisa subscribers to have access to a full suite of new and innovative rich content services, ranging from ringtones, games, music, multimedia and full browsing, to discovery for Elisa's mobile TV services.
Along with higher levels of subscriber satisfaction from next generation Mobile Internet services, Elisa lowered their total cost of ownership for access management by deploying 724's Seamless Access Solution onto a Linux blade hardware configuration.
