724 Solutions Appoints K.P. Wilska to its Board of Directors
Santa Barbara, CA (May 7, 2007) - 724 Solutions, a leading provider of next generation mobile data solutions enabling seamless communications in an IP-based world, today announced the appointment of Kari-Pekka (K.P.) Wilska, an industry visionary with over 30 years of experience at Nokia, to its board of directors.
K.P., who is a Venture Partner with Austin Ventures, also serves on the board of directors of Brightpoint Inc. (NASDAQ: CELL), Mavenir Systems Inc., Paragon Wireless Ltd., and PulseWave RF Inc., is chair of the advisory board of Sipera Inc. and serves on the advisory board of Navini Networks Inc. Prior to his retirement in 2005, K.P. held a number of executive leadership positions within Nokia, including President of Nokia, Inc.
