Radiolinja Finland selects 724 Solutions' X-treme Mobility Gateway

XMG enables new content-rich data services

Santa Barbara, CA (July 8, 2003) - 724 Solutions (NASDAQ: SVNX; TSX: SVN), a leading provider of next-generation IP-based network, applications and data services, today announced that Radiolinja Origo, a subsidiary of Radiolinja Finland, will deploy 724's XMG to upgrade their wireless data infrastructure to enable a new suite of content-rich multimedia applications and services.

Radiolinja's deployment of XMG includes both the WAP 2.0 compliant pull and push proxy gateway which replaces and enhances RLO's existing gateway infrastructure. With XMG, RLO is now offering improved WAP 2.0 data services and new multimedia messaging services (MMS). RLO subscribers can now send and download photos, graphics, audio, music clips, ring tones, games, and video clips with their mobile phones.
